If you were blindfolded and taken to Ennis Texas you would think you were in the

South of France!  Fields and fields of sunflowers grow with abandon across the 

plains that were once covered with buffalo.  These huge disks - some over a foot

across follow the sun with pleasure.  

Lots of yellow paint is required to capture the beauty of these giants! Their dusty blue green

leaves provide a foil for the intense colors of these beauties.  Texas bluebonnets get a lot of

attention, but you must some back to the plains of Texas in June to see these spectacular blooms.
